This walk takes us through the beautiful Woburn Park in Befordshire. The park includes tranquil ponds, pretty Orchards and a 3000 acre deer park. There's also the splendid Woburn Abbey - a stunning country house which is the seat of the Duke of Bedford.The deer park is home to Red, fallow, Pere David’s, barasingha, muntjac, Manchurian sika, rusa, axis & Chinese water deer We will also be walking through Apsley Heath - 800 acre stunning woodland with Sandy paths, is a mixture of conifer woodland with some areas of semi-ancient woodland and heathland
Please be advised, the deer are not fenced off and are free to rome. We will keep to the footpaths and maintain distance from the deer. It is important that EVERYONE in the Park follows all safety signage whilst on site.

With minimal inclines, this moderate walk is a perfect introduction to the weekend, giving you time to reconnect with nature and enjoy the serenity of the forest.

Famous for its dramatic gritstone cliffs and sweeping views, Stanage Edge is an absolute must for anyone visiting the Peak District.This easy-to-medium grade hike will introduce you to the area's wild beauty, with vast moorlands and open skies setting the tone for the weekend ahead.

Time: 2.5-3 hours walking

Grade: Easy/ MediumAfterwards, we’ll check into our accommodation, where you can relax and settle in before joining us for dinner at a local pub.
Saturday
After breakfast, we’ll head out for one of the Peak District’s most iconic walks—the summit of Mam Tor via Lose Hill. This ridge walk is a real highlight, offering incredible panoramic views that stretch far and wide.
The paths are challenging yet rewarding with stunning views when we reach the summit.Distance: 9.5 miles / 15 km
Time: 5-6 hours walking
Ascent: 510 meters
Terrain: Hill & Moorland
Grade: Medium/ HardSunday
The Roaches and Lud Church. The Roaches, with its dramatic rock formations and rugged beauty, offers a different vibe from our earlier hikes. We’ll also explore Lud Church, a mystical, moss-covered chasm steeped in legend.
This is the most challenging hike of the weekend, but the effort will be more than worth it as we take in the stunning scenery and enjoy the sense of accomplishment.Distance: 10.5 miles / 17 km

Grade: HardIn the evening, we’ll gather for a well-earned dinner for our final night in the local area.
Monday
Our last adventure takes us to Thor’s Cave and the Manifold Valley, a peaceful and enchanting area that will give us a lovely final taste of the Peak District. Thor’s Cave, perched high in the hillside, offers an unforgettable view of the valley below.
This medium-grade hike is the perfect way to finish off the weekend.Distance: 7 miles / 11 km
