Details
This fundamental and comprehensive two-day course provides instruction for beginner to intermediate canyoneers. Whether this is your first experience canyoneering or you would like to improve and hone the canyoning skills you already possess, this is the class for you. Upon completion of this course, you will have the knowledge and skill to safely descend canyons as a contributing member of a group.
You will need a harness, helmet, and gloves for this course. If you don’t have a harness and helmet one will be provided for you. All technical gear will also be provided for the class. If borrowing gear isn’t your thing we offer a 10% discount on all personal gear for our students!

Schedule
Day 1
Meet at Adventure Plus for orientation and classroom presentation. We will be in the field most of the day. Come prepared for hands on instruction, training, and practice.
Day 2
Meet at the training site. We will be in the field all day. Come prepared for hands on instruction, training, and practice.
Bring a lunch, snacks, and at least 2-3 LITERS OF WATER. You will also need appropriate footwear (no sandals or open toed shoes), sun protection, and rappel gloves.
Skill Level:Beginner to Intermediate
