Cool Down Hikes

Take Denver temperature minus 20 degrees and enjoy a refreshing walk in the woods instead of sweltering heat in the valley. This unmapped trailhead is an hour from anywhere down the hill and splits into 9 different routes on 20 miles of trails so we can take a route as long or short as you like. On the Ridge Wraith trail we’ll pass incredible deformed Lodge Pole pines, unlike anything you’ve seen before, created as they fought to survive the 1962 Resthouse Fire. Me and Rocky are on the trail 3-5x/wk after work and you’re welcome to join. Dog heaven with no leash required and we'll visit an amazing overlook with Denver below.
