We’ve done a Secret Santa exchange a few years in a row so we’re continuing the tradition! Basically, I will close RSVPs on 11/28 (Thanksgiving Day) so that I can use Elfster.com to anonymously assign our Secret Santa assignments. For those of you who haven't done Secret Santa gift exchanges before, everyone involved gets assigned one person for whom they buy a gift, but that person doesn't know who their gift-buyer is until the dinner when we do the exchange! It's lots of fun. Your gift can be something you think that person will like, something funny, something risque--be creative! PLEASE KEEP IN MIND IT'S A $40 LIMIT ON GIFTS. However, since we want everyone to feel included and get a gift, everyone who RSVPs to this event MUST FOLLOW THROUGH ON THEIR COMMITMENT to both buy the gift and show up to the dinner. Cancellations after we do the secret Santa assignments will screw up the holiday fun for everyone. And I will be greatly displeased...lol. Because people have cancelled last minute or failed to get a gift in the past, I’m going to be VERY strict about who can RSVP to the brunch. Also, because it’s a holiday and gift specific event, this will be for ESTABLISHED MEMBERS ONLY since we want to know the people we’re buying gifts for. The location is TBD but I’m looking for a place with bottomless drink options so I suggest taking an Uber!! Let’s get into that holiday frame of mind!!
