Play to your Strengths with StrongSuits by Ryan Behrman

Synopsis:
This online workshop will use the StrongSuits virtual cards to help you gain a better understanding of your strengths and explore what this means for how you communicate and collaborate in teams. Both new and past participants are very welcome. No prior experience is necessary. This workshop will NOT be recorded.
StrongSuits is based on 4 major insights from modern psychology:

  • People perform best when they play to their strengths
  • Cognitive Diversity makes teams stronger
  • People have different styles of interacting
  • Our limitations hold the keys to our strengths

This has profound implications for team members, coaches, facilitators, managers and leaders to understand their strengths, limitations and interaction preferences and those of their teammates and to derive the maximum benefit from the cognitive diversity inherent in their teams.

Agenda

  1. Welcome
  2. Introduction to StrongSuits and the 4 major insights from modern psychology
  3. Breakouts: Play Your Winning Hand Game (one of the 8 flagship StrongSuits games) to discover your strengths and what this means for how you can play to your strengths in teams.
  4. Reflections, Q&A and closing
