Welcome to the AIIM Southwest Chapter. Your AIIM Southwest Chapter is a local group of people who have implemented information management solutions and can help you learn about the issues and challenges. Professionals want and need to know people who provide and apply SOLUTIONS. The AIIM Southwest Chapter is more than an organization that provides information theory and standards; its members are actively deploying information management technologies. Applied solution knowledge is valuable to ECM and RIM professionals because we need resources that understand and use current technologies to solve those challenges. The benefits of our local AIIM Chapter follow: (1) Local meetings that provide technology-centric learning that you can use in your career; (2) A knowledge base to call in times of need; (3) Houston contacts – websites are great for some information, but people-to-people communication is important; (4) Direct access to experienced vendors and consultants with local references who understand and supply technology SOLUTIONS. Our mission is to, “Drive awareness among our membership and guide them regarding best practices, standards, technologies and vendors that will assist in finding solutions to information related challenges.” If you are not already a member of AIIM, we invite you to join us!
