Let's get out at Eagle River High School. There are lighted trails, so you won't need a headlamp. You can walk or ski. A wide path was groomed and it's nice for walking or you can ski. Nordic tracks are down!

Lots of people take their dogs there to run free, but be ready to leash the dog when needed. If your dog isn't good around other dogs, leave the poor pooch at home. Be ready to scoop the poop, please.

We park in the far back parking lot at the trailhead parking. You have to go past two other entrances to the high school to find it. Take the third and last entrance and drive to the back of the school. If you are running late, park at the front entrance and meet us on the practice field.

BTW, I'm hoping to make this a weekly event with different destinations, depending on wants and needs of the regulars so come with ideas of where you want to go next time.
