What we’re about
This is a group for people in the greater Albany area who have RVs and want to meet other like minded folks who like to camp as a group. We will mostly stay in state and parks within 3 hours of Albany. Typically arriving on Friday and leaving on Sunday with a potluck on Saturday night. Activities will include potlucks, campfires, star gazing, hikes, board games, geocaching, showing off our rigs, and exploring the local scene.
Membership is on a trial basis while we get to know each other and while we and you determine if our group is a good fit for you. This is a politics free group, discussion of politics or political flags are not welcome.
As the 2024 season is winding down and I just moved to the area, I will start out by sharing planned trips and those who wish and can get a reservation can join me. I hope to jump on 2025 as soon a the reservation windows open. I would love suggestions about your favorite parks and even sites.
