To ensure the smooth operation of our events and to provide the best experience for all members, we have implemented the following policies:
- Cancellation Policy: All event cancellations will be made no later than 24 hours before the scheduled start time. This decision is necessary to ensure efficient planning and resource allocation.
- Event Minimums: In specific instances where RSVPs are limited to two or fewer male members or the total RSVP count for both genders is two or less, events may also be canceled. In such cases, participants will have the option to attend the event without a facilitator.
- Code of Conduct: The Albany Travel Society is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all members. We will not tolerate harassment, bullying, or any other form of disrespectful behavior. Any member who violates this code of conduct will be immediately removed from the society. Any issues or concerns please address them privately in the messages here. The public forum is not the space to post your issues.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we strive to provide the best possible experience for all members.
To cover platform fees and administrative costs, a nominal fee of $1 per person, per event will be implemented for next year in 2025 starting in January. This fee will be used to offset monthly hosting charges. You will also have the option to pay a yearly membership fee of $12 will provide unlimited free event access and support the production of our monthly magazine which needs to be paid before your first RSVP in 2025.

This Holiday season there are a few ways to give support to the Mohawk Humane Society. These are not in-person events.
Shelter Secret Santa
Each year we do a Secret Santa for our shelter pets. If you are interested in sponsoring one of our shelter pets as their Secret Santa, please use this form to express interest no later than December 14th. https://forms.office.com/r/5udZmehkiYGiving Tree
Each year our Community Outreach Team runs a giving tree for pets in our communities. Members of our community have requested items and services that they need for their pets. Ornaments with the requested items will be hung in the MHHS lobby for individuals to sponsor. Supplies will be collected until December 15th, and staff and volunteers will deliver them to families in the week leading up to Christmas.
