To ensure the smooth operation of our events and to provide the best experience for all members, we have implemented the following policies:

  1. Cancellation Policy: All event cancellations will be made no later than 24 hours before the scheduled start time. This decision is necessary to ensure efficient planning and resource allocation.
  2. Event Minimums: In specific instances where RSVPs are limited to two or fewer male members or the total RSVP count for both genders is two or less, events may also be canceled. In such cases, participants will have the option to attend the event without a facilitator.
  3. Code of Conduct: The Albany Travel Society is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all members. We will not tolerate harassment, bullying, or any other form of disrespectful behavior. Any member who violates this code of conduct will be immediately removed from the society. Any issues or concerns please address them privately in the messages here. The public forum is not the space to post your issues.

Please Note:
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we strive to provide the best possible experience for all members.
To cover platform fees and administrative costs, a nominal fee of $1 per person, per event will be implemented for next year in 2025 starting in January. This fee will be used to offset monthly hosting charges. You will also have the option to pay a yearly membership fee of $12 will provide unlimited free event access and support the production of our monthly magazine which needs to be paid before your first RSVP in 2025.
