Come and volunteer as a group to help sort bottles because they are in DESPERATE NEED of help. The more volunteers the better!
I spoke to the Director and they can use all the help we can offer!

Bring your whole family including kids, this will be a great opportunity to have a fun family day at the animal shelter helping it out! You can check out the available animals after too :)

About Empties for Animals
Empties for Animals is our bottle recycling program. Corporate Groups, Community Service, and Volunteers can help by sorting bottles and cans.
In 2023 our Empties for Animals Team sorted over 2,00,000 bottles and cans totaling nearly $178,000!
The money that we raise through this program goes directly back into the animals and helps us give them the best care possible.

Opportunity Description
Empties for Animals is our bottle recycling program. Here you will sort aluminum, plastic, and glass bottles and cans into the correct receptacles. Because we pre-sort the bottles and cans before sending them to the recycling company, we earn more money for the animals!

Who can Volunteer
Corporate groups, school groups, clubs, adult volunteers, and children 10+ accompanied by a parent or guardian can help support the animals through our Empties for Animals program.

Bring any donations of empty bottles, closed-bag dry or wet food, blankets, and dog toys with you for further assistance!
