Hike at Pine Flats
Details
Exercise before the feasting season!
We will meet at the Pine Flats trailhead picnic area (enter parking area and turn left). I drive a black Honda Fit and will have my dogs with me (very friendly, do not interact with fellow hikers much). The hike is about 5.5 miles long with a total of 430 ft elevation change. AllTrails classifies it as easy. I've chosen a loop to hike (pokerchip - gamble oak - mahogany- to pokerchip). We will stay together as a group and there will be plenty of stops for seeing interesting/ pretty things, taking pictures, snacks, and water. I am taking my 12-year-old dog with me and she does not run!
Dogs are welcome as long as they are friendly and you are responsible for their behavior.
Please be on time! My dogs don't understand why they have to wait at a trailhead.
Wear sturdy shows, clothes in layers (it will get warmer as we walk) and bring water, snacks, camera, and a good mood all the while keeping your phones turned on silent, please. There's a good chance the trails are muddy
I am limiting the hike to 12 people and 1 guest per person. Feel free to message me for questions.
