**This is a somewhat inclusive stroll. Attendees are expected to walk two miles at a leisurely pace with or without assisted devices.**

Many of the trails at the Rio Grande Nature Center State Park are accessible for folks needing assisted devices like a walker, cane, or a wheelchair. If there are speed walkers or runners, they too are welcome to slow down and enjoy the trails along the river or through the Bosque as well as the company of others.

Center description: Rio Grande Nature Center State Park is located on the Rio Grande flyway, the park offers excellent birdwatching opportunities throughout the year. There are indoor and outdoor wildlife viewing areas overlooking ponds, a native plant garden, and a pollinator garden.

The event hosts for these treks are volunteer members and have no training or qualifications as guides. These treks are a group activity. We enjoy being outdoors and getting exercise with a congenial group. It expected that attendees with remain with the group. Attendees are expected to follow the instructions of the host (s).

**As this walk is intended to be inclusive for folks with different functioning levels a participant may bring a friend with them that could assist them returning earlier than other participants.**

**There are also "Walk and Roll" events at the Botanic Gardens that will resume after the first of the year 2025. At this venue participants may leave the group at will as there are employees available to provide help in an emergency.**
