Roll 9:15 am // Distance 8 miles // Elevation 1,400 feet

Powder Canyon, located in Rowland Heights, is a mixture of fire roads with a sprinkling of singletrack. A few fire road climbs can be lung busters, but nothing too technical.

GREEN+ LEVEL RIDE
You are still new to the sport but have been riding consistently for a few months. You can ride at a moderate pace and climb local hills with minimal stops. You are able to shift and brake confidently. You are getting comfortable descending and climbing switchbacks, riding up, down, and over rocks, and are comfortable descending non-technical singletrack.

If you are new to AMTR, please bring a signed and completed waiver to the ride for the ride leader or email it to: [email protected]. You will be asked to sign a Waiver if you do not have one on file. If you refuse to sign, you cannot join the meetup event.

BIKING ESSENTIALS
Please bring your own biking essential needs like tools, pump, hydration pack, chain link, gloves, energy gel/bar, snacks, camera, and most importantly a HELMET. Knee and elbow pads are NOT required but are suitable for extra protection.
