Hiking & Holiday Treats together with friends - what could be better??? A great way to round out another superb Always Hiking year.

***Please throw your favourite indulgence into your backpack to share.***

We'll earn those calories before laying out some Xmas cheer at the Dundas Valley Trail Centre - afterwards we'll do the 40 minutes (2.8 km) back to the car park along the Spring Valley trail.

Last year we spent about 45 minutes making merry but folks who need to leave early may simply follow the rail trail back to the Sanctuary Parking Lot without fear of getting lost. For those "going the distance" we'll return via the more picturesque Spring Valley Trail.

• Distance / Elevation gain - 11Km / 220m
• Pace intermediate / fast about 4.5 km/h
• Duration - 3.5 hrs. including breaks
• Expected Trail Conditions - just hard mud by the looks - but always come prepared with poles and clothing layers to put on or take off.
