Winter Solstice Celebration Hike

We will hike up the Mokelumne Coast to Crest Trail to Patti's Point for the fabulous view, socializing and lunch. Option #1 is to meet at Middle Bar Take-out parking lot at 10AM and hike from there and back for a round trip of 7.5 miles. Option #2 is to meet at the Rich Gulch Trailhead on Gwin Mine Road at 11:30AM, joining up with Group #1 as they hike in from Middle Bar and all head up together to Patti's Point. Group #2 will have a roundtrip hike of only 3 miles. But, as many of you know, the climb to Patti's Point from Rich Gulch is short but very steep. Bring sturdy footwear, hiking poles, layers of clothing, lunch/snack and water. Rain postpones to Sunday Dec 22 or if necessary Monday Dec 23.
