This outing is only available to Amador Flyfishers PAID MEMBERS. Sign ups are limited to 10 attendees per outing. The Thursday outing is the most popular. Priority for Saturday May 3 will go to those NOT signed up for Thursday's May 1st outing.
We will meet both days at Gold County Lanes located at 81 Ridge Rd., Sutter Creek, Ca. at 8 A.M. Please don't be late. IF YOU HAVE SIGNED UP AND CANNOT MAKE IT, PLEASE CONTACT ME OR LET ANOTHER ATTENDEE KNOW SO THAT WE ARE NOT WAITING FOR YOU. We will caravan down to the ponds.
This outings difficulty level is EASY. The ponds are best fished from a float tube. The ponds can also be fished by wading out from the shore or in some cases from shore. You can either "wet wade" or use waders.
Essentials include:
4 or 6 wt. Fly Rod, Floating Line, Float Tube, Life Vest
Sun Screen, Rain Jacket, Sunglasses, Fins
Fly Patterns including:
Bass Poppers, Leeches, Rubber Legs,
Woolly Bugs, Woolly Buggers, Various Nymphs
The ponds are filled primarily with large mouth bass and average between 10-12 inches. There are also some blue gill and perch. THE PONDS ARE CATCH AND RELEASE ONLY. PLEASE PINCH DOWN ALL THE BARBS ON THE FLIES and/or HOOKS YOU USE.

• What to bring
Bring a lunch, something to drink and a lawn chair. We will break for lunch between noon and 1 p.m.
