Annual **HO-HO Holiday Hike at So. Mountain!

Grab your SANTA HAT & join us for Holiday Hike on South Mountain!
We’ll meet at the Mormon trailhead at 9:45am & be READY to GO UP Mtn. @ 10:00am for a *FUN* HIKE at a “Moderate” pace.

• Please wear *Festive holiday colors-*Red Green, & a Santa or Elf hat/outfit & be ready to take some FUN PHOTOs along the way & at the top! & Get picture taken with SANTA Chuck! What a TREAT!

Plan on about 2-3 hours to allow for stops & FUN photos!
Wear Hiking Shoes /Boots or Tennis Shoes with good tread
(Trail is rough & rocky & slippery in spots!)
DON’T FORGET water or sports drink & a Jacket (if chilly) & Sunblock.

Difficulty: Moderate/Difficult climb at start - We start at Mormon Trailhead to proceed up the mtn. to the National Trail & then to Hidden Valley. At West end there’s 'Fat Man's Pass'! We’ll go back thru cool rock tunnel & loop back to the Mormon Trail to return. Distance: Approx. 2.5 miles Elevation gain: 720 ft.
The organizers are VOLUNTEERs! (NOT trained in first aid & is not an expert mountain guide. If you want to enjoy the benefits of the group, we suggest you try & stay with the group. The event planners, leaders, and all organizers from "Amazing Arizona Adventures" are volunteers and are not professional guides. They will not be held responsible for you.
