'Tis the season to be secure on AWS!

Actually that's not true, you need to be secure all the time... come an help us celebrate an interesting and productive year for the group with Ben Potter from Fircy (https://fircy.co/).

Ben's been deep in AWS security for over 12 years (since Sydney region launch!) and will be sharing tips and tricks on;

• Latest security feature releases (pre-Invent)
• How to easily improve security without turning on all the things
• Decoys and active defence as the emerging strategy to stay safe
• Active defence demo with AWS WAF

Ben will explain how AWS native decoys and parsing logs can auto update WAF rules using SQS and Lambda. He can provide the lambda code to people that ask too (although you will still need a log parser).

We are at a new venue this month, we are kindly hosted by the Innovation & Collaboration Centre (ICC) at the University of South Australia (UniSA) (https://icc.unisa.edu.au/) - we will also hear about how they support and nurture South Australia startups.
