What we’re about
The Novi Oaks Charter Chapter of ABWA has 35 members. ABWA supports members through education, networking support, leadership opportunities, and local and national recognition. All women (and men) are welcome: Working for employers, business owners, looking for work (and mentors), students, and women who wish to remain active in retirement.
Our meet-ups are held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month at the Novi Civic Center, located at 45175 Ten Mile Road (west of Novi Road) with networking at 6:00 p.m. Introductions begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by a business-relevant speaker (always awesome!). The meeting is $22 with dinner or $10 without dinner. Always check our website for the most recent details of events and meetings.
Prepaid reservations are required - visit our Events page at www.novi-abwa.org/events.
Our local Novi Oaks scholarships for women are offered every year, including two $2,000 Impact Scholarships for Michigan residents, and a $1,000 scholarship for students of Madonna University. Guidelines can be found on our website at www.novi-abwa.org/scholarships-education - the deadline to complete the application for the Novi Oaks Impact Scholarships is May 1 each year.
ABWA National scholarships for women of up to $10,000 are offered through the ABWA National Stephen Bufton Memorial Educational Fund at www.sbmef.org, and applications open in October of each year.
You can join ABWA for the cost of $115 nationally and $24 dues locally. Student memberships are only $50! Learn more about the national organization and join ABWA by clicking on the upper right corner on our website at www.novi-abwa.org
Other Michigan chapters are located in Ann Arbor, Auburn Hills, Clarkston, Flint, Frankenmuth, East Tawas, and Utica. For links to all chapters in Michigan and the U.S., visit our website at www.novi-abwa.org (lower right corner of each page).
