Come join other American Mah Jongg enthusiasts every Monday and/or Thursday from 12:00n to 3:00pm inside the Senior Room at the Citrus Heights Community Center. You must know the game and NMJL rules well enough to play with all levels. No teaching is available, see * below.
Things to Bring & Know:
1) If you have a Mah Jongg set, please bring it.
2) Bring your current NMJL card. (https://tinyurl.com/yckt42t8)
3) This group plays with a $3 PIE. Bring your coin purse filled with $3 worth of quarters, dimes, and nickels.
4) Play will follow the official standard rules of the NMJL as indicated on the back of your NMJL card along with the in-depth rules from the NMJL booklet, “Mah Jongg Made Easy”. The booklet is available for purchase at the same link as #2 above.
5) This group currently allows only one table rule: When playing at a table of 3, there is a Charleston along with a Dirty Wall that is the last wall played.
6) No eating at the game tables and drinks must be in a spill-proof container.
