We are excited to introduce our members to the Minnesota Camino! The Minnesota Camino is not an event in and of itself but rather ties together all our Chapter hikes. Members who complete at least 100 kilometers on Chapter hikes will be eligible to receive a beautiful (yet-to-be designed) Minnesota Compostela. The 100 kilometers need not be completed within the same calendar year.

Each of our Chapter hikes will specify how many kilometers members walking it will earn. Each member will be responsible for tracking his or her own kilometer totals by maintaining a list of all Chapter hikes attended and the distance of each hike. Upon completing 100 or more kilometers the Member may notify the Coordinators at minnesota@ameriganpilgrims.org and include his or her list of hikes and kilometers. The Coordinators will then confirm the total. Such Member will then be recognized and awarded the Minnesota Compostela certificate at the Annual Fall Celebration!

We hope you join in the fun!

Members are encouraged to organize and lead hikes themselves. We ask that hike leaders be familiar with the route, know the distance, and carry a minimal first aid kit (bandaids, antiseptic, and ace bandage). If you'd like to lead a hike, contact the Coordinators at minnesota@americanpligrims.com with the location, description, date and time so that we can post it on Meetup.
