White Elephant Board Game Exchange

Whatever holiday(s) you do or don't celebrate, join us for a Winter Holiday White Elephant Board Game Exchange Party! Please bring a dish to share. We will eat yummy treats, do the gift exchange, then - of course - we will play games!

If you've never done a white elephant gift exchange, each participant brings a wrapped gift and everyone takes turns either opening a gift or stealing a gift from someone else until the last gift is taken.

EVENT RULES:

1. All gifts must have at least one game. It is acceptable to create a bundle of games and/or include other board game-themed add-ons like a gift card to Diversions or Toy Soldier, or a dice tray, etc.
2. Unlike other white elephant exchanges you might have participated in, gag gifts are not allowed. The game you bring should be something you legitimately think someone would want in their collection.
3. All games must be new in shrink.
4. The price range you spend on the gift you bring should be in the range of $40-60. If you spend on the high range or above this range, please realize that you might leave with a gift from the low end of the range.
5. Please do not RSVP yes for this event unless you are able to show up for the full event and you plan to participate in the game exchange.
6. Because this event is at my house, you must have attended another event so we have met in person prior to attending this event.
7. Please bring a food item to share and leave a comment when you know what you're planning to bring so we don't end up with too many similar items.

Finally, ugly or creative holiday or winter sweaters are encouraged, but not required... as is creative and/or elaborate gift wrapping!
