Meet with kindred spirits for guided meditation and shamanic drum journeying.

Details

Come join the Circle for the First Tuesday Shamanic Journeying group! We will gather for a guided meditation and chakra balancing, followed by group drumming, rattling and movement. Then I will lead you in a shamanic drum journey with a particular theme. We then have an opportunity to share our journeys with the group.

December 3 Journey - "Quan Yin - Light of Compassion"

The embodiment of compassion, Quan Yin is known as “she who hears the cries of the world.” She is one of Buddhism’s most beloved bodhisattvas, and is the protector of women, children, anyone in trouble, the sick, disabled, and poor. Some Buddhist teachings present her as male and female interchangeably. The idea is that a bodhisattva—a being of great realization who vows to forego enlightenment until all sentient beings are liberated—can manifest in whatever form will most effectively free beings from suffering.

We Journey with Quan Yin to cultivate compassion for ourselves and others, balance emotions, and understand how to hold the light in dark times.

Come join us for a Light-filled, Insightful and Peaceful Evening!

All are welcome!
