Thelma Post is a 93-year-old grandmother who loses $10,000 to a con artist on the phone. With help from a friend and his motorized scooter, she soon embarks on a treacherous journey across Los Angeles to reclaim what was taken from her. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on January 18, 2024. It has received positive reviews and grossed $12 million worldwide.

This is being shown as part of the Oswestry Film Society programme at the Hermon Chapel Arts Centre. They are based just round the corner from former long-term hosts in Oswestry, the Kinokulture cinema.
