What we’re about
The goal of the Anacortes Critique Group is to improve our craft with like-minded (interesting, awesome) writers. We are a small group of writers who like to give and receive thoughtful critiques.
Everyone in the group submits pages to critique. Everyone in the group critiques at every meet.
What do we critique?
We critique fiction (shorts, novels) and screenplay. Participants will be asked to provide line edits and/ or overall impressions.
Where do we meet?
We meet every two weeks, at 2pm, at the Anacortes Chamber of Commerce meeting room. Our in-person meetings usually run about an hour.
About me
I've run both in-person and online critique groups for many years. I've also written and critiqued for years. I write novels, short stories and fiction. I have published short stories.
I moved back to Anacortes in late 2023 having lived in Baltimore for a number of years. It seems a lot of the in-person critique groups vanished during the pandemic. That's why I've created this group.
