Magnificent Millennials (1975-1995)

Looking for a relaxed, no-pressure running group? This is your crew! Join us for a 5K (3.1-mile) jog through the beautiful ITC Corridor Trail. Whether you’re getting back into running or just like to keep it low-key, you’ll fit right in.

Details:

• When: Meet at 6:30pm (ready to run)
• Where: Flodin Park in Canton, by the tennis courts
• What to Bring: A headlamp (it’ll be dark, so you’ll thank yourself later!)

We’ll make sure no one gets left behind, no matter your speed. If we have a big group, we can split up into smaller pace groups so everyone feels comfortable. This is a welcoming, all-levels event—come as you are and enjoy a chill evening jog!

We will be doing a simple craft project that even the most craftistically-challenged can pull off. The result will most likely be silly, ugly, and quite possibly soon headed to the garbage can. It'll be a lark!

Kitsch: Art, objects, or design considered to be in poor taste because of excessive garishness or sentimentality, but sometimes appreciated in an ironic or knowing way.

Book groups are for intellectual conversation, right? Ha! No! They're really just an opportunity to pretend that you actually read a whole book, have a drink or two, and then shoot the shit. This book group is getting it real.

At some point before the event I'll post screen shots of the first and last chapter of a book that I select because:
#1. Discussion questions are available for it.
#2. It looks like a piece of crap that I would never normally read.

Read the first and last chapters and we'll amuse ourselves by seeing how many discussion questions we can guess the answers for.

And then move on to part B: Shooting the shit!
