Anoka Women over 50 meet up

Who is ready to play some Bingo and possibly win a nice size jackpot? 🤑💰 As the saying goes, you can't win if you don't play! Each of the games has a payout of $199 and a couple of progressive jackpots of $1,000. Cost is $20 for all games.

Early bird session Bingo starts at 5:45 pm, but we need to arrive by 5 pm to be sure of getting enough tables. Regular bingo sessions start at 6:30 pm. It is best to eat before the games begin, so another reason to arrive early. If anyone can get there by 4:45, that’d be even better. This does fill up fast.

**All RSVP'S will be closed at 7 pm, 2 days before the event to prevent last-minute add-ons and cancelations.

1. RSVP rules still apply - if you do not remove yourself from the "Going" list within at least 2 days from the start of the event, you will get a strike. Or, if you are on the "Going" list and you do not show up, you will get a strike.

2. 3 strikes against you will result in your removal from the group for 5 months. All we ask is that you show up when you say you will.

So, we've all seen Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer 🦌when we were little kids, correct??? And maybe some of us still even watch it today 🤭🤭 Well, imagine watching the beloved reindeer and his shiny red nose in a musical??? Now, how cute would that be???

Well, here is your chance to ring in the Christmas season 🎄☃️ with a fun group and start to get that Christmas spirit! 🤩

We are planning to meet for lunch at The Wild Boar and Grill in Hopkins at 11:45, then attend the musical at 1:00 pm. These two places are literally steps from each other.

YOU MUST BUY YOUR TICKET TO THE PLAY ON YOUR OWN for the Sunday, Dec. 1st - 1:00pm performance. Website is: my.stagestheatre.org.

Ticket cost is $30.00 (for seniors - 60+) and $34 for adults, and it is non refundable.

****You will need to create an account so you can get your tickets emailed to you. But, it really isn't a big deal.

Judy and Sharon have already purchased their tickets in Row J seats 12 and 13 on the MAIN FLOOR in the CENTER SECTION IN FRONT OF THE STAGE. Buy your ticket in Row J or Row K (starting on the left side of the center seating section, 9 rows back) so you are sitting alongside us (J14, J15, etc ) or behind us (K13, K14, K15, K16 K17, K18, etc) so we can all be together. If you purchase in the wrong section, it'll be sad, 😔 but not our problem.

***ONLY AFTER you complete your ticket purchase, please RSVP to this event. We then want to see a COMMENT on the event page of which seat you purchased, like what Sharon and I did. Attendance will only be limited by tickets available for this performance. There are currently many seats open by our seats. Hurry and do this so we can all sit together.

We will meet before the play at The Wild Boar & Grill for lunch at 11:45am. Please arrive on time so we can order promptly at 12:00pm. We will not wait for late comers to order. The address is 1022 Mainstreet in Hopkins, MN.

***The theatre is literally walking distance (.1 miles away from The Wild Boar and Grill. Our suggestion to do would be to park at the theatre, then walk to The Wild Boar to meet us at 11:45. (Just give yourselves enough time for the walk). Then we walk back to the theatre after we eat. After all, it probably would feel good to walk a little bit after stuffing ourselves with some good food. 😋

Winter is upon us (or at least it should be) 🤔, and that means it's time to get the dice 🎲 rolling and have fun in our small groups of 4 playing Bunco. Since our Bunco outings have been a huge success before, how can we not play again??? 😉 Such a fun time was had by everyone, and we always get numerous requests to set up some times. So here we are! Just need 20 people once again, and we can have fun all over again.

PLEASE, only sign up if you know you can attend. RSVP’S will be turned off 2 days before the event at 7 pm so there are no late add-ons or late cancellations.

ALSO: We need all 20 people who sign up to show up AND play. If you are on the Going List and do not show up, it will be an automatic 3 month suspension from the group. It is not fair having to have people sit out because everyone does not show up. So be sure you can attend!!

Whether you are familiar with the dice game Bunco, please feel free to sign up. 🎲 It is a fun, easy game to learn that is played with 5 tables of 4 people each, 20 people total. Great social game that brings everyone together! What could be better than that? 😄

Whether you have ever played this game or not, there is always a first time, right?? Don't feel you can't come if you've never played before. Anyone can learn how to play, and we will be glad to teach you! 😊

***EVERYONE is expected to spend at least $7 on food/beverages since we are reserving a room. Also, everyone is expected to play since we need 5 tables of 4 people, and it is the highlight of this meet-up.

Let's get together at Davani's in Coon Rapids at 5:00, We will order dinner close to 5 pm so we can get started playing bunco sooner rather than later.

Each player needs to put $5 in a pot. Small bills preferred ($1's and $5's). Pot will be split amongst the winners. 🤑🤑

We will reserve one of their rooms and be able to eat and play in our own private room. So when you roll a Bunco, you can yell "Bunco" as loud as you'd like. 😝

Same rules apply as always, so please be considerate and take yourself off the "Going" list before 2 days or more of the event to allow someone on the Waitlist enough time to plan so they can hopefully attend.

***If you take yourself off the "Going" list inside of the 2 days before the event, you will be removed from the group for 3 months. All we ask is you show up when you say you will.
