**This event is for beginner and novice players that have played a few times and are familiar with the rules; limited to 6 players. Some instruction will be available at the beginning but the purpose is you to play by yourselfs and get more experience.**

Location Le Roi daniels, please arrive at 3:45 so we can start on time and set up nets.

**The cost is $9.00 per person, payable at sign up on the going list, by e-transfer to sportsabc99@gmail.com NOTE in ETRANSFER -** include date and time of event and name if different from bank info. Costs cover any equipment expenses, pickleballs, insurance and the courts.

***WE NEED ABSOLUTE COMMITMENT FROM EVERYONE WHO SIGNS UP!***

\- If you have not paid within **24 HOURS of signing up for the event you will be moved to the waiting or non-going list, no warnings will go out.**

\- There are no refunds/credits for cancellations\. If you need to cancel please contact someone to take your place from waitlist and have them pay you directly\, let them know they will be going as you\.
\- If you are replacing someone going please remove yourself from the waitlist immediately so others will know who they can contact if replacement is needed\.
\- If you cannot make it and cannot locate anyone to take your place please move your name to the "not going" list\.

If you are on the waitlist and are moved to the going list you are committing yourself to show up, **PAYMENT IS REQUIRED within a 5 hour period, if not received YOU WILL again BE MOVED TO the WAITLIST. If you cannot attend** **UPDATE YOUR attendance to Not Going ASAP.**

This event is for players who have played a few times and are learning to consistently make basic shots and keep basic returns in play. Check this link for an explanation of the playing levels.

Anyone above 2.5 level should register in the other event. If you are a more advanced player and you are interested in helping mentor the new players please reach out to the organizers.

We will briefly explain game play and scoring prior to playing but it will make a lot more sense if you have watched the YouTube videos linked below. **Please** watch the videos and arrive prepared.

We will rotate doubles partners and play several games to get players acquainted with playing pickleball. We play in a positive, fun manner. Sportsmanship is more important than points. Enforce rules in a positive and learning manner.
