Birdsong Nature Center's 565 acres of wildflower meadows, forests, ponds and swamps, are home to a myriad of birds and other wildlife. Enjoy fall color, birdsong and abundant (12 miles) nature trails as well as their famous bird window. Formerly a plantation, then a cattle farm, the land is now managed to create a mosaic of varied habitats that support a wide diversity of wildlife.

Meet at 1:00 pm at pay station and get signed in before taking off on one of the nature trails. This will be a slow and mindful walk so we can enjoy the serenity and beauty of the natural landscape and return home with a renewed spirit. If you are a faster walker, you are welcome to grab a trail map and explore on your own. Bring your binoculars, wear suitable shoes/clothes, hat, water and snack.

Admission is $5 for adults, $2.50 for children
4-12 years old Free to members.
