Greetings from the Colonial Fleet. Please join me every fourth Friday of the month for a game of Battlestar Galactica. Whether you are a seasoned veteran of the Cylon War or if this would be your first time playing the game, you are welcome to play. I, or another experienced person, will provide instruction for whoever needs it. Battlestar Galactica is semi-cooperative game in which the players serve on the Galactica, however, some players are secretly working against humanity as Cylons. For a full description, please use this link (http://www.fantasyflightgames.com/edge_minisite_sec.asp?eidm=18&esem=1) to go to the publisher's website. A typical game lasts three to four hours, so please expect to stay the entire time and only complete one game at this event.
Colonial Fleet regulations require that you RSVP in advance and arrive on time; those who fail to do so may not be able to play. (You are welcome to RSVP with guests, but you need to confirm that your guests will come.) If your plans change and you cannot come to the game, please change your RSVP. Also please try to avoid last minute changes to your RSVP (I understand that sometimes there may be emergencies); if you want to come but do not know if you can, please wait to RSVP until your plans are well defined. Furthermore, please do not bring infants or children to the event. Players who also have to care for their children's needs could slow the game down considerably. Thank you for your understanding.
I have set a total limit of six players for this event, but you may notice fewer spots on this meetup. This event is also being hosted on another meetup and the spots are evenly distributed, but if a waiting list develops on one, I will reallocate spots if I can. Also if you have a copy of the Battlestar Galactica Board Game and are willing to bring it, please message me in addition to your RSVP. I will then increase the limit to 12 and set up another table so another game could run simultaneously.
Please message me with any questions or concerns. Help me destro-, I mean, save the Colonial Fleet.
So say we all.
