## What's On? 👀

Melbourne is hosting quite a few exciting cybersecurity conferences in November. To pay homage to those, we are hosting a conference season special meetup!

Our goal is to make speaking at conferences more accessible. With that in mind, we have a couple of lightning talks and a hands-on activity.

Talk 1 - How to prepare a good CFP (call for paper).
This talk aims to assist attendees have a better chance of their talk submissions being accepted.

Talk 2 - Elements of a good conference talk
We will explore how to give an engaging conference talk.

Hands-on activity - Review mock CFP submissions
Attendees will have the chance to put what they learn into practice by reviewing a few mock CFPs and discussing in a group what's good and what can be improved.

## Attire (Optional) 👕

To make things fun, we request attendees wear their favourite conference or cybersecurity t-shirt.
