Volunteer at the Girls on the Run 5K

Join the Arlington Jaycees as we support the Girls on the Run (GOTR) by volunteering on their upcoming celebratory 5K.

The Girls on the Run 5K is a unique, end-of-season event that brings together thousands of NOVA girls, their families, and community members for a celebratory 5K. Each event requires over 100 volunteers to be a success. Volunteer roles include bus greeters, road runners, cheer marshals, start and finish line support, water stations, and much more. We have a job for everyone who wants to help!

• The 5K will be on Sunday, November 24, 2024 in Pentagon City, Arlington. This is a rain or shine event, therefore the event will still take place even if it rains.
• Volunteer roles have different start/end times. Your registration confirmation will include detailed information of when to arrive and where to check-in.

Girls on the Run (GOTR) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization designed to enhance participants' social, emotional and physical skills to successfully navigate life experiences. Their fun, interactive lessons meet the unique needs of participants of all abilities and backgrounds. GOTR inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.
