Boston Sketching and Coffee

Bring your sketchbooks and favorite pens (or pencils) for a 1.5 hour group sketching session! We start with a 30 minute prompt together and then free-sketch after that.

This time, our drawing theme is graphic novels and comics!

[Totally optional:] After our sketching session, anyone who’s interested can join for a trip to MICE, the Massachusetts Independent Comics Expo, at BU. There, we can participate in the workshops, listen to open sessions, and check out the vendors. This is a free event open to all (not affiliated with Art Block; note that face masks are required for this event).

Our Goals:
We provide a community for creatives to beat Artist's Block consistently, so they can become their most creative selves. We also love supporting local businesses.

Location:
Boston Public Library – Central Library
(a more specific meeting spot within the library will be provided closer to the date)

Parking/Transportation:
Remember, we are meeting at the CENTRAL branch of BPL. The closest T-stops are Copley (Green) and Back Bay (Orange).
