Volunteering for Children's Literacy Kits Coloring Project

Join us for a fun afternoon at the United Way's office at CityPlace in downtown West Palm Beach. Using such basic supplies as markers, crayons, glue, paper and scissors, we'll decorate literacy kits that'll be distributed free to local pre-K and kindergarten children to encourage their love of reading. No special drawing or craft-making skill is needed. Everyone is welcome.

Take note that we will not be working with books or with children. Also, this is one of our few events to which you can bring a guest.

Parking is free in one of the nearby garages. Snacks, coffee and water will be provided. The event will begin with a talk about the United Way's local activities.
