Expat life - Thriving? Or Surviving?

Details

A new home is always an adventure, with new sights to see, people to meet, and experiences to have. The people you leave behind, the loneliness you experience, and the fear of the unknown can change our experiences which can feel difficult.

While you settle into expat life as a wide-eyed explorer or a seasoned expat, there are some factors that influence expat health and wellness.

Have you felt lonely?

Have you had worries about loved ones far away?

Have you experienced worries related to future finances?

Have you felt a lack of support systems?

Have you felt a shift in your identity?

Have you experienced difficulty dealing

with your emotions in challenging times?

Join our 4-part series to GROW as a expat. restarting this Monday, 30th January, 2023

G - gather supportive resources
R - reflect on your expat self
O - organise future finances
W - work a balance in life

This is a place for people to learn, grow, and support one another. We encounter challenges, frustrations, and restrictions due to our international residence. Managing these by yourself can be challenging. You can feel less alone in this process by joining this workshop. You can learn to offer and accept help while also learning new coping mechanisms.

This workshop is for persons who, along
with their suitcases full of hopes, carry around tiny bags of uneasy emotions while living abroad.

The group is low-cost to make it affordable for more people.

100QAR to be payed at the venue. Including coffee and dessert.

Rsvp closes 24 hours before.
Please send your name, and your guests, email address, phone number so I may contact you if any changes on the day. [email protected]
