Art night is people getting together to create, art, music, writing or any other form of creative expression. It's meant to bring people together to explore the beauty of the creative process and creative problem solving. It's about fostering collaboration and working together to explore new ideas, perspectives and approaches.
It's based on the idea that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts, that working together to make something is often, at the very least, more fun and interesting than constant isolation and competition.
It's a throwback to the age of apprenticeships and mentoring as much as it is an exploration of shared knowledge and cloud collaboration in the new globalized information age.
In simple term, we think it's often more fun and rewarding to do things together than it is to do things alone. As artists and creatives, we want to explore and promote that.
