What we’re about
This is a online meetup for people entrenched in the creative process and interested in sharing their experiences, inspirations, frustrations, and opinions. This is a group for discussion and/or collaboration, without any overarching theme or agenda. You are expected to behave like a mature adult, though being a creative person this may be difficult at times. A sense of humor as well as an ingrained compulsion towards the creative process is all that is required.
No one will be required to speak or present anything, you will not be asked to introduce yourself and say a few words about why you're present and what you hope to get from the experience, blah blah blah. But you may want to share a project you're working on and ask for/or decline criticism, discuss process, objectives, context, habits, themes, etc ... or recite a limerick and receive appreciation or stunned silence.
All are welcome, from all disciplines - novelists, painters, actors, performance artists, dancers, studio artists, mixed media artists, essayists, poets, musicians, composers, screenwriters, sculptors, welders, cartoonists, comics, and muses, etc ...
You will not be expected to endorse or reject any particular schools of thought - religious, creative, political, or otherwise. You will be expected to at least tolerate differences of opinion. You are certainly expected to express your own. If you feel like it. Well that's about it.
