What we’re about

Artsy Black People is a group focusing on black figure drawing sessions and various other artistic activities within the black “artsy” community. Who is artsy? Anybody who wants to engage in any level of artistic expression. This group was created to provide a welcoming and supportive space for black artists of all levels.

Our goal is to foster fellowship, build community, connect, and inspire through the therapeutic power of art, while maintaining a positive and respectful environment.

We look forward to hosting a range of events, including figure drawing sessions, art workshops, study Zooms, open art sessions in the park, drink and doodles, and puff and paints. This group is open to artists of all skill levels. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent for age-appropriate gatherings.

Join us and spread the word. Everyone is welcome, with a special focus on the black experience. Let's inspire, uplift, and empower each other through our shared love of creativity and expression.
