You have **a special opportunity to have a fun time with our meetup group while you make a wooden Christmas ornament of your own** on **Tuesday afternoon, December 10th**.

For a couple hours you will create a simple, customizable, small, wooden ornament with guidance from the friendly staff at MADE Makerspace, a collaborative work space just east of The Delmar Loop.

Friday night, November 15th, several of us attended Third Friday at Third Degree Glass Factory, and afterwards we headed across the street to check out MADE. We saw people making their own ornaments, saw how easy and fun it is, then spoke with Rachel, MADE's membership director. Rachel agreed to allow our meetup group to have the same opportunity! Many of us who attended on the 15th were impressed and interested enough to attend on December 10th. You can join us!

**The cost is an amazingly affordable $19, with all materials included!** What a deal for being able to make your own Christmas ornament! Surely you know a family member or friend who would cherish such a hand-made gift of the heart from YOU, which they can display for years to come.

We will offer **carpooling**, so getting there and parking will be non-issues. We will be allowed to bring in our own **food**, as well, though we may opt to grab a meal somewhere in The Loop, either before or after our session at MADE.

**NOTE WELL: You MUST RSVP for this event by noon Friday, November 22nd**, because I have to let Rachel know how many of us will attend on the 10th. We'll be set up in groups or 4-6 each, with start time of either 4:00 or 4:45 p.m. It will take about 2 hours to create an ornament.

**And when you RSVP, you are committing to attend and pay the $19** (which will be payable at the door on the 10th). As a responsible member of our meetup, you'll surely agree that's only fair to MADE, because they will be committing to set aside space and materials for us that afternoon.

This will be a unique, fun, festive event. And a chance to make a gift for someone you love. Plus, a great way to get into the holiday spirit.
