What we’re about
Welcome all! I have started this group to bring together folks in and around Asheboro NC that love to play (or just want to check out) modern hobby board games. These are not old-school games like Monopoly, Sorry and Clue -- see below for some examples of the games we are playing these days.
We have been meeting up at Four Saints brewery in Asheboro for all of our get-togethers so far. We play on the third Wednesday of each month and usually have a longer game afternoon once a month on a Saturday or Sunday.
I want to make sure everyone is welcome and can find something they would like to play so we will have games of all lengths and complexities. And if you have never heard of any of these games, don't worry; we will make sure you don't get thrown into the deep end!
