Scenic AVL #8: Beaver Lake to Reynolds Mountain

This is the winter route that goes up Reynolds Mountain and rambles along the ridge line. Beaver Lake closes at dusk, so during winter, we take a different route.

Gear: Bring a headlamp and carry water.

Parking is limited at the triangle, but there is overflow parking available at Beaver Lake Bird Sanctuary. If you park at Beaver Lake Bird Sanctuary, text the hike leader at 828-290-0886 and let me know. During winter months, please walk to the Triangle to join the group.

• If you must cancel, please change your status to "Not Going" as soon as possible so wait-listers can have sufficient notice.
• There are generally 1 or 2 no-shows on my hikes, so we don't wait for people to arrive. If you are late, you'll be left behind. In some hikes, there are "if late" instructions to intercept us.
• Notes and comments are genuinely appreciated.
