Our Event Hosts
We all want to have fun; however, we are all expected to be responsible for ourselves. The event hosts and organizers are all volunteers and are not compensated. While some may have various outdoor and nature experience, hosts and organizers are not outdoor professionals or emergency rescue trained. Going out on an AOET event is similar to going out with your friends. (Join Now Click Here)
You are expected to act responsibly, respectfully and in a safe manner. Failure to do so and you be removed as a member. No exceptions.
Selecting an AOET Event to Attend
Each event host will provide description about the event. You are required to read the the entire description and judge for yourself whether the activity is suitable for you and your ability/experience.
Be honest with yourself. Not all of our activities will be suitable to you. The organizers and event hosts are not responsible for you. YOU are responsible for you!
If you RSVP to attend an event, please respect the the event host and other attendees by showing up or cancelling by the cut off date indicated in the event description (if no cut off date is listed then at least 48 hours prior to the event). (Join Now Click Here)
