Feeling a little overwhelmed? That’s ok. Our group is a safe place for ASL learners to practice, make mistakes, ask questions and improve their skills without judgment.

**Agenda:**
5:30-5:45 - **Brief Introductions**: Name, sign name, where you're from, Deaf/Hoh/hearing & ASL level (**Please add your ASL level to your name** when you join the meeting)
5:45-6 - **General Conversation** \- You will be placed in Beginner\, Intermediate or Advanced/Native room \(If you'd like to be moved to a different room\, just ask\.\)
6-6:05 - **Large Group Debrief** (Share new signs; ask questions)
6:05-6:25 - **Conversation with a Theme**: TBD (You will be placed into Beginner, Intermediate or Advanced/Native room)
6:25-6:30 - **Free chat**/closing comments

**PLEASE NOTE:**
1\. Help us maintain a **voice-off environment**. It’s easiest if you keep your microphone on mute throughout the meeting.
2\. It's best to **use a computer, laptop or tablet** for our meetings. On a cellphone it’s hard to see everyone clearly.
3\. Your **camera must be on** to join the meeting and **you must chat with me (Patricia) before joining a breakout room**. Also make sure that you **have a place to put your device so that your camera is steady** and you have both hands free for signing.
4. **Everyone should feel included** in conversations. If you notice a person in your group isn't participating, ask them a question directly so that it's easier for them to join in.
5\. You're expected to **ask questions and ask people to repeat themselves**. If you don't understand something, wave or raise your hand and ask for clarification.
6. **Group members must be respectful of each other at all times.** Anyone who is disrespectful or abusive to other members will be removed and banned from this group.

If you are **under 18 years old** you must be accompanied by a guardian.
