Advanced Winter Hike: Buck Mountain

You must have MICROSPIKES and some WINTER HIKING EXPERIENCE. SNOWSHOE POSSIBLE dependent on snow depth.
Let's celebrate the approaching winter hiking season with a 6.5 mile roundtrip hike up Buck Mountain in Lake George. There will be ice and snow on the route, so you'll need hiking boots, non-cotton base layers, a warmer layer, a shell waterproof jacket, hat, gloves, and microspikes, plus water and snacks. Optional: hiking poles, snowshoes.
If you arrive without a bare minimum of safety equipment and warm weather gear, you may be turned away for the safety of the group.
This will be a physically challenging hike, so please be in good enough shape to complete it.
I do have a few extra pairs of microspikes to lend. If you need them, message me in advance.

We will meet at the parking lot at 9:00AM on Pilot Knob Rd and plan to leave on the hike at 9:15AM sharp. If you want to car pool feel free to post messages in this event to coordinate.
