Public Buddhist Talk with a monk - In Person and Online!
Geshe Phende or other monks from Drepung Loseling Monastery will lead public Buddhist teachings every Tuesday at 7pm. A Medicine Buddha Practice will be beforehand, at 6pm. Everyone is invited to join at Drepung Loseling Monastery in Atlanta, or via Livestream. These weekly teachings will go over a Buddhist topic or text, such as on training the mind, stages of meditation, dealing with challenges, etc.

All welcome to these events:
- Guided Meditation, Sundays at 11am
- Medicine Buddha Practice, Tuesdays at 6pm
- Public Buddhist Teaching (talk by a monk), Tuesdays at 7pm
- Evening Prayers, Wednesdays at 7pm
- Protector Puja, Thursdays at 10am
- The Foundations Series Retreat and The Lamrim Series, monthly on Saturdays
Everyone may join, no pre-requisites for the events listed above. As this is a temple, we recommend modest attire, but you may wear anything that is comfortable. We will take off our shoes to meditate. There is no charge, though donations are welcome.
Drepung Loseling Monastery is the authentic Tibetan Buddhist center in Atlanta frequented by His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and is dedicated to the study and preservation of the Tibetan Buddhist tradition of wisdom and compassion. A center for the cultivation of both heart and intellect, it provides a sanctuary for the nurturance of inner peace and kindness, community understanding, and global healing. Drepung Loseling Monastery has a long history in Tibet and main monastery now in India, and is academically affiliated with Emory University.
