What's a vernissage, you may ask? The French word "vernissage" is an art opening where the artist hosts a special reception to open the exhibit.
"Shades of Indigo" is an exhibition presenting the latest project by French artist Guylaine Conquet. In this exhibition, her recent works, inspired by the rich history of Afro hair, are brought to life using one of the world's finest indigo dyes, sourced from the French island of Guadeloupe. Guylaine Conquet's innovative approach blends cultural heritage with contemporary art, offering a profound exploration of identity, history and tradition through the power of indigo.

***How to find us:
Alliance Française Atlanta is located at Peachtree Center.
To access the Alliance Française, use the alleyway next to the Tin Lizzy's, and continue straight towards the back to tower 233 (you'll see the fountain on your left). Once in front of the 233 tower, the auditorium's entrance is on your right.

***PARKING:
Validation is provided for the International Parking Garage.
Look for Tin Lizzy's - 26 Andrew Young International Blvd NE, Atlanta, GA 30303. The International Garage is directly across the street from the Tin Lizzy's.
