The Power to Be Happy - Half Day Meditation Retreat
Saturday, September 28
10a.m. - 1p.m.We are constantly searching for satisfaction and fulfillment in external sources, but in reality, we already have access to an endless supply of peace and happiness within our own minds.
Buddhist teachings clearly explain how we can correctly identify the real cause of happiness - inner peace - by mixing our mind with virtue such as patience, loving-kindness, compassion and wisdom.
You are invited to arrive a few minutes before the retreat starts to check-in, relax and have a cup of tea or coffee. We have a book shop and gift shop to browse. Some attendees find it is helpful to bring a pen and notebook if you wish to take notes. There is secure and ample parking.
After the class, there are refreshments and an opportunity to ask questions informally.
Everyone is welcome. No meditation experience is necessary.
