CHILL – Winter Pops concert with the ACSO + coffee/snack beforehand
Details
As part of their 2024-2025 season, the Atlanta Community Symphony Orchestra (ACSO) is performing a free concert at St. Bartholomew's Episcopal Church in Atlanta.
The CHILL - Winter Pops! concert is a musical journey featuring the sounds of winter, telling "the musical journey of music through the ages and in far off lands".
ACSO invites "patrons and our musicians to tell their own story of winter at home in Atlanta by bringing new and used winter clothing to help homeless youth in need during the cold winter months."
ACSO is partnering with “Lost-n-Found Youth”, an Atlanta-based nonprofit organization that provides services to LGBTQ+ Youth experiencing homelessness.
This concert also features artwork created for their Art in Music program by area youth, in their interpretation of Vivaldi’s “Winter” from the Four Seasons.
