What we’re about
This group is for LGBTQ+ Parents/Caregivers of children, with a focus on kids aged 1 to 12 years old (toddlers to pre-teen). Single gay dads, lesbian moms, queer adults of any variety, you are all welcome to join with your kiddo(s). All races, ethnicities, genders. If you have a question about whether this event might be right for you, please contact the host through MeetUp.
We're also planning something over Pride Weekend in October, which will be even more inclusive. Stay tuned for that event announcement.
We want to meet queer families and show our kids there are tons of other families like theirs in Atlanta!
For now, this meetup is held monthly at or near a public playground or park meant for children. Bring a blanket, snacks, water, and outdoor playthings. Run around, splash in puddles. Above all the goal is meet other LGTBQ adults and their kids.
These events are designed for kids and their families. Please bring a child to join us.
