OUTDOORS - Walk along the Northside Beltline!

Welcome! We meet at 299 S Colonial Holmes Cir NW, Atlanta, GA. We meet between 10:15 and 10:25 AM. We are on the west side of the street (not in the apartment complex on the east side of the street). (Fyi - this is at the official north end of the Northside Trail for the Beltline.) There should be free parking along this street. Typically holding a RED FOLDER or Meetup sign.

• We would go south for 1 mile along the official Northside Trail to Tanyard Creek Urban Forest and back.
• (We could veer off and visit the tennis center near the end).
• We would end at the start point.
• Bonus: we could then go north on the non-Beltline trail and go along the north side of the golf course part way, and back to the original start.
• If you want to join this Meetup event at some other address and time along the Beltline, please notify the host(s).

Because the intent is to get some distance into the Beltline, this is medium pace, not slow-to-medium pace.

Yes, this is not in Midtown; this is 2 miles north. This is near Midtown.

Please bring:

• walkable shoes,
• a water bottle,
• a hat and/or suntan lotion, and
• a charged phone and/or a charger
• PARKING:
• There appears to be free parking along Golfview Rd NW, which starts half a block south of the meeting spot.
• Example parking:
• 312 Golfview Rd NW, Atlanta GA
• This is along the trail, and is only 15 feet from the trail. (So it might be less likely to have car theft than say, 2276 Havenridge Dr NW Parking)(along the north side of Bobby Jones Gold Course)
• Note the official trail parking lot might be a bit small.
• Speed: Medium pace
• Length: 1.5 hours
